On May 22, Ningbo David Medical Device Co., Ltd. donated a medical touring bus worth nearly 1 million yuan to the Red Cross Taiwan Compatriot Hospital (RCTCH) to improve the basic medical services and people’s medical experience in the remote island area in the south of Xiangshan. This is also the first professional medical touring bus in Xiangshan County.
It is reported that RCTCH purchased about 1 million yuan in DR (chest radiograph), B-ultrasound, electrocardiogram, urine analyzer and other common medical examination equipment, making it function equivalent to a small mobile physical examination center. The medical touring bus will be used to provide regular health check-up services for students, urban and rural residents, and enterprise employees, as well as to provide roving medical and other public health services for residents of remote villages on islands and elderly care institutions.
Since its founding, David Medical has been adhering to the service tenet of “Serve Humankind, Extend Life Expectancy”, and always regards paying attention to social welfare undertakings, emphasizing social responsibility, and being an excellent corporate citizen as an important part of corporate culture.
